Verification of Competency (VOC)

A Verification of Competency (VOC) confirms that an operator can still safely perform a task they have already been trained or licensed to do. It is a check on currency, not a replacement for training.

Most civil construction sites require operators to demonstrate currency every 24 months, and many principal contractors build VOC into their site induction. Procon conducts VOC assessments across the plant and equipment commonly used in civil construction, mining and infrastructure work. Each assessment includes a knowledge component, a practical demonstration, and a review of the operator’s existing licence or Statement of Attainment. Successful operators receive a VOC certificate.

A VOC can be performed at our facilities or on-site.
